Sydenham Update

* The old church next door to Harman Motors will be rebuilt as a Sydenham community centre/function hall/museum by the Sydenham Community Trust.
* Plans are under way for new buildings on many of the cleared sites along Colombo Street, Sydenham.
* The Honey Pot Café is now open on the site where Piquet's Cafe used to be at 458 Colombo Street.
* Underground Café is open – and their flat whites are as good as ever.
*Most available retail space in Spotlight Mall, now THE COLOMOBO, have been leased and shop spaces are currently being fitted.

Our Dynamometer testing is done by proffesionals to get a accurate dyno enginge tune.

Our VE SS V

When we bought our VE SS V, it had a 3" X Force cat back exhaust fitted, but was otherwise standard. On our dyno it had 222 kW at the rear wheels.

We fitted 47mm Pacemaker headers, cold air intake, an extreme camshaft and an under driven pulley.

Then we gave it the magic Custom Tune and WOW! 345 kW at the rear wheels on the dyno now which is over 430 flywheel kW, or 575 Horsepower.

We have gained an increase in power of over 55%.

On the road it pulls so hard and it sounds like a beast!

While it may not be everyone's choice, it demonstrates what can be done. There are many options and combinations available to get the package you want.

Rangiora Muscle Car Show

Was on very early this year, 23/24 January.

The weather was marginal, but as always the turnout was not and once again we were overwhelmed with Holden and Ford interest and enquiries.

We had just purchased a VE SSV Holden and inside 1 week modified and tuned it with rather pleasing results. It already had twin 3" cat back exhaust and on the dyno it produced 222kW at the rear wheels. It is now 345kW (naturally aspirated). So fast on the road and sounds awesome! Quite a head turner when ever we started it up at the show. More about the car later, but many thanks to Craig and his team for an amazing show, for the 20th time!
